I have a problem reading CD-R disks on my 6500. The internal CD-ROM drive
(CR-8024) doesn't recognize my CD-Rs. When I insert a CD-R disc, the system
acts like it's frozen except for mouse movement. I can eject the disc
manually by pressing the drive button and the system returns to normal. I'm
on OS 8.6 using Apple CD/DVD driver version 1.2.2 (came w/ OS8.6).

Thanks,

Charles
