I dunno about that. I swear by Memorex CDs- use 'em in a Yamaha 8824s and a Toshiba SD-R2212 (the iBook combo drive) and they work great. No coasters or any problems in like ~120 burns. On the other hand, I got a bunch of Imations on the cheap and they seemed flakey- had about two coasters in a 50 pack. Try various blanks and figure out what works best for you-- it's really strange.
