Anything with an "MB" prefix is Fujitsu.

Fujitsu, ever the imitator, created its "MB" prefix simply by copying Moto's
(Motorola's) "MC" prefix.

Fujitsu and Motorola used to be suppliers to my former employer of identical
LSI chips, which we designed, but which they manufactured for us, in our own
proprietary surface-mounted package.

The FJ (Fujitsu-speak for "Fujitsu") parts were better than the Moto parts,
but we still bought lots of Moto parts for so-called "Buy America" machines
(these machines being mainframe computers). These machines usually went to
the FBI, the CIA and the NSA, not to mention our very first production
machine (1975) which went to NASA.
