I've used Norton's Disk Doctor for years, but I'll have to agree with Kyle.
Don't do the full install. It screwed up a number of different computers I've
installed it on. I install the "Norton Shared Library" into the extensions
folder and the Nortons Utilities on my hard drive, but I don't install the
stuff like filesaver, or any of the other prevention stuff. Personally, Disk
Doctor works better for me than Tech Tool Pro (very disappointed with it),
and over the years I've heard lots of people prefer one over the other and
vice versa. I have also heard great things about DiskWarrior.

IMHO you don't want ANY OF IT INSTALLED!!!!!!!!! Norton's AV product is
YEARS behind Virex. And diskdoctor....I should just keep a log of how many
times Norton products in general have screwed up my clients machines. I
always warn them not to install any Norton products, but they keep doing it.
I don't know why. >>
