My own spare 604/120MHz card is very clearly labelled on the non-heatsink side there is a labeled:
FCC ID: BCG604120 Thus obviously it's a 120MHz 604. I haven't seen a daughterboard mounted 601 but I've heard they have much smaller headsinks (the 604 was a bit power hungry and pumped out a fair amount of heat).
