MAXpowr ext. and cp installed, mem.check off: After powering on, chime OK, all contr.lights are burning but no go, even not after waiting 1/2 an hour. After 3-finger-salute all is OK. Machine unstable. MAXpowr ext. and cp installed, mem.check on: Boots up flawlessly, but still unstable. BUT: In both situations RAMometer 1.3.4 freezes the Mac during the 6th run. Well with MAXpowr ext. and cp uninstalled, mem.check off: Boots up flawlessly, Mac stable, "runs" faster (MHz), but really slower while no backside-cache now. With MAXpowr ext. and cp uninstalled, mem.check on: No difference. BUT: Now RAMometer 1.3.4 will not freeze BUT remark a difference in writing and reading RAM, and that repeats! Solution: Found 2 modules with a 4K-refreshrate. After changing modules no more problems with booting up and RAMometer 1.3.4 in any setting, even not after more then 3.000 runs. But still: This Mac is much more stable running without MAXpowr ext. and cp installed. HTH,
