Jerry, I just went through this about 2 months ago. I looked at virtually everything. I have an Orinoco Gold card that I use in my Wallstreet, and I was given a Orinoco Silver card. Great, I thought. It turns out that there is only one solution. You have to get a Skyline card and the Skyline PCI adapter, if you want to run wireless networking with a PCI slot. The card needs drivers, and the PCI adapter needs drivers too. If you have other questions about this, e-mail me.

Any ideas for a PCI wireless card for 8600. My cable router is a Netgear Wireless Router (on sale at Fry's for 69.00 with rebates) and works perfectly with an iBook Airport and networked with a wired Wallstreet.
