Hi,
Unsupported drive syndrome - some scsi drives which are OEM for
major PC outfits are unsupported by Apple's HD Setup and are troublesome
to initialise and mount due to the inaccessible blocks of dos junk which
are not eraseable.
Mostly Compaq...does scsi probe see it as a Compaq? Does it mount?
If scsi probe sees it you may be able to initialise it with FWB HDToolkit
or HD SpeedTools by Intech - if scsi probe does not see it and it will
not mount - sell it and get another that is not PC OEM. I had three new
Seagate Barracudas Compaq OEM which I could do nothing with...
     Annoying!

     Cheers
