>From one Kevin to another... What I would do in your place: have a spare battery to put in. Positive points to your right when the front of the machine is closest to you. Put back the old 7200 motherboard and see if it will boot that system up. If so, the power supply should be good. Replacing the power supply might be a good idea, however, like auto repairs, "a new part may not necessarily be a good one." It sounds like you might have trouble with your 2nd hard drive. Backtrack until you discover where your problems start. make sure that all your additions are well seated, that means your RAM, cache card (I don't know if the cache for a 75/7600 is the same as the 7200!!) and your processor card, and VRam (must have at least 2 staggered slot 1 & 3 or slot 2 & 4). Make sure everything is unplugged from the motherboard and then press and hold the power button for 10 seconds. I would even suggest you press and hold the cuda button before installing the processor. If and when you get the desktop to show up go to the "View" menu and set the preferences to "snap to grid" and that should keep your icons lining up on the right hand side of your desktop.
