This is a simple question and a general one. In windows a ".pdf" documnet will associate with the Acrobat reader automatically. However on the 6300CD I'm putting together for a friends child, the AppleWorks 5 Manual which is a "PDF" document won't open unless I open Acrobat 4 rreader and the open a the file from within. Is there a way this can live on the desktop and he can just click on it and it opens? He's a boy of about 10 and doesn't have a lot of computer experience and no Apple experience at all. I'd like to provide him with some choice by providing this Mac to him, but it has to be fairly simple for him to run.
