Without explaining why.... :-)

I want to replace the Finder in my OS 8.6 on my PM6500.
I do * not * want to reinstall OS 8.5 and 8.6. [cuz I can't ]

I just would like to "install" a * fresh * copy of Finder.
[I'm convienced mine has problems and replacing with a new copy would eliminate me
fretting about it, so let's just say that I want a new Finder for Christmas :-)

Now...how to do it....
I have the OS 8.5 CD...but it's finder is 8.5...not 8.6

sooooo do I make a copy of the 8.5 Finder off the CD and drag
the old 8.6 Finder to the trashcan and then drop the brand new
8.5 Finder onto the Hard drive icon on my desktop? or what ......
then how do I get the Finder updated to 8.6?

Is the complete 8.6 Finder available on the internet to download?

Thanks,
Gail
