The 200MHz daughter card from the 8550 has the processor soldered on. IOW, it is not a ZIF. Beige G3 Macs have daughter cards with ZIF slots for ZIF Processor chip upgrades.
XLR8 made daughter cards with ZIF slots. These XLR8 cards fit 7500, 7600,9600,9500,8600,8500,7300 macs. An empty XLR8 ZIF card can be purchased at www.otherWorldComputing.com for about $80. Then a ZIF Processor Chip must be purchased.
