This program (v 4.4.4) seems to have a real problem...

To get a custom icon for an image you have to do something to the 
image, even if you then reverse it (say, select a square then cancel 
the selection). Then save. Problem is, the memory size of the image 
then doubles!

Also, if I trim half of an image off using "trim selsction", the 
image size should decrease... but it increases substantially. Nuts. 
So how do I trim an image and DECREASE the memory size??
