I've been investigating this myself and found that it was the older version of the Mac OS that allowed us to format to PC. OS 8 included "PC exchange" with MacLink plus and that why we could format to DOS using the older versions of Iomega SW. Apparently now you have to buy MacLinbk plus to give us this capability in OS 8.5 and up. If anybody knows any differently, I'd like to know too.
