Well I'm glad I read this. Seems I have the same problem. Been trying to 
get this new G3 card to work in my 8500. I gave up for today and just 
put the old card in. Still had a few weird problems but ran Nortons disk 
doctor and it seems to be OK.

Might give the card another try tomorrow.
