PCI Maccers,
I rescued 3 mother boards from a load of 8000lbs of Mac
circuit boards that are going to the grinder. They appear to be either
8500's or 75/7600's. There are some odd distinctions. There is one from
1995, one from 1996, and one from 1997. The 1995 is Apple part #
820-0752-A and it has a "backbrace" plastic frame on the bottom side of
the board that makes me think it is an 8500. By the power switch there is
only a speaker connection. The 1996 and 1997, 820-0858-B and 820-0931-A
respectively, have power led and fan connectors adjacent to the speaker
connector. The 1997 has, where the cache slot appears on the other two,
nothing, and the word cache" is not stenciled on either. Those are all the
distinctions apparent to the untrained eye. Any ideas as to what these are,
exactly.

p.s. there's a whole lot of Apple II stuff and LC stuff in that load and
I *might* get a chance to go through it again before it leaves forever,
so let me know if there's something desperately needed.
