I have tried two different HD's in my 8500. I used the same
installation disk with both of them. The first one was a 150mb? HD from a
performa. It worked fine, but there was no room to upgrade to OS 8.6.
The second one was a 1.9 GB Apple Quantum HD. The installation
completed succesfully, but when I try to open the appearances control panel,
I get a Error type 113.
Why does it do it with one drive and not the other? I initialized both
HD before installation. If the HD is bad, where can I get one fairly cheap?
