Hi, I have the same card (with the same number but A instead of B). This is the Avid video card, that works with Avid Cinema and Videoshop and the Avid extension. If you connect it to the video in card (if you have one, like in a 6400/6500), with a specific ribbon connector, you can record video with this dedicated card. The out ports are for exporting these digital videos). Some people use Reeleyes or BTV, etc., instead of Avid Cinema for recording video.
