The top three slots are on one bus controller; the bottom three slots are on 
another bus controller. The two bus controllers operate at the same speed. 
Therefore, all six slots *should* perform identically.

An apparent flaw in the motherboard's design, which prevents all six slots 
from being fully utilized, is claimed to be fixed by third-party "six slot 
edition" processor card upgrades.
