A lot of this kind of thing can be found in the hardware developer notes. For the 9500 you'd want a file called PPC_9500.pdf which is available on Apple's web site. I think, chose site map nad then either developer or support or developer support. I don't remember what order. Then hardware and legacy machines or some such. These are not exact instructions but should give you enough to hunt it down. It seems like Apple reorganizes the location from time to time. Once you find this page, you'll find pdf's for machines back to like the IIci with block diagrams and such. The Apple Network Server Hardware Developer Notes, ANSHardwareDevNotes.pdf, is extremely useful because it's nearly identical with the 9500 in architecture but has a lot more detail.
