Still experimenting with my two 7500s - I gave up on the OS X install project and decided I just have to buy a G4 instead. Anyway, now I've had them a couple of weeks, I rather like them - they're my first Macs and I'm thoroughly impressed how good they are, especially compared with their wintel contemporaries. Anyway, I'm looking for some more advice - to save some space I want to run them both as headless machines and will control them using VNC remote desktop software to view them from my UltraSparc but they don't seem to be playing along. I've got VNC server running on start up ok, but if I disconnect the monitor the Macs won't fully boot, or at least don't establish network connectivity. Annoyingly, if I disconnect the keyboard it's fine. There's not much point in having a headless station if the monitor has to be plugged in... Can anyone point me in the right direction? I want to boot them with nothing but power and ethernet plugged in. Thanks, Mat
