     Thanks for the wisdom - I need the 4 megs to drive my 1600x1200 
monitor at 1152x870 with thousands so the 'virtual' tv is on it's lowest 
setting and I've ignored it for a while.
     Next time I use it I'll have a look through the extensions - I was 
resigned to getting a cheap graphics card for it and pulling the vram.
