If you havea CD drive in this particular Mac, you can boot from a system CD. (Start while holding the letter "C" to boot from the CD.) Once the computer is started, open the System that you left on the desktop and remove the driver that you put in. Then drag the System back into the original System Folder. Next, drag the driver into the Extensions folder (In the System Folder, not the System that you just put back into the System Folder.) Restart the computer and eject the CD. All should be back to normal. The only thing you should ever add or change in the System is keyboards. All else is done in the System Folder. This same procedure can also be done by attaching an external device (hard drive, Zip, etc.) and do a normal start up. The device with a complete system folder will by default become the start up drive. After fixing the original system, either shut down and remove the external device or select the original drive as the start up drive in the Start Up Control Panel. (Located in the Control Panels folder in the System Folder.)
