I'll agree with you there. TurboTax (Used to be called Mac-N-Tax or something like
that years ago.) Is the easiest to use tax program I've found. It works especially
well with info stored in Quicken or QuickBooks (also by Intuit)  We've been using
it for our taxes (personal and business) for years. I wouldn't trust anything made
by "if in doubt , pay more money" Block.
