Some ISPs have a spam blocker, mine does--but if yours doesn't, you can set 
up mail filters in your email program if  it's capable. Most email clients 
have this feature.
Create a folder in your mailbox named "Spam" for example, and configure mail 
filtering to catch the following keywords in the MESSAGE BODY which are most 
effective:

click here (the most common one)
click below
opted-in
GUARANTEED
!!!

And have them directed to the Spam folder. Check the folder once a day, or 
whatever to look for desired mail, and delete the rest in one fell swoop.
Take a look at your spam messages for other keywords or variations of the 
above, and enter them as well.
