As far as I can see, the signal from the cable jack in my house is split
with a -3.5db splitter.  The cable systems uses only a small amount of the
available bandwidth, the rest of the bandwidth is used for the Internet
connection.  Right now Imp currently receiving about 1.5 megabits per
second.  I wonder what speeds the other subscribers to our mailing list are
experiencing.
