J Blanton, I have Cox Cable, my system at this moment is 7300/200 with the original Ethernet card as well as a second one Cox installed when they were trouble shooting my system. I also have, installed by Cox a router to hold the IP address.
My original problem was losing connectivity which Cox would not admit was their poor support of Mac's. I still have problems, duplicate messages to my in box, and just this morning, getting dropped while writing a reply. I wonder if the extras are part of the great speed? To add to Chris mention of David Baucom, I have sitting on my desk the beige G3 I purchased from Baucom. I am waiting for a friend to help me get it going.
