One of the bigger problems with this one was that not only were MS SQL 
Server installations affected, a large number of programs have the 
vulnerable portion of the code embedded in them, so things like 
enterpise backup solutions and antivirus software were affected as well.

Worse, some of these products don't say they're running SQL Server as an 
embedded component, so you don't know your system's vulnerable until 
it's too late.
