If it's like the 5200's and 5400's I've seena nd performed this removal
on... I would recommend using a pair of pliers. Sounds drastic, but if
they can grab onto both the plastic sled "lip", and the top (back) of
the hard drive, you sould be able to pull it out w/o any damage. Just as
much grip and force as is needed, don't overdo either.
