I won a Miromotion capture card for PCI PowerMacs on Ebay. I have a 9500 PM and a 7300 PM. I wonder which system is the right one to add a Wide SCSI controller and possibly one or two wide SCSI drives to for full screen video capture. I thought the 7300 was the better candidate due to processor and bus power, but the 9500 has 6 PCI slots and is close in specs to the 7300.
I have 384 mb RAM in the 7300 and will be installing 160mb RAM in the 9500. First any opinions on which system will be a better choice for his setup? Second Any suggestions on what is a good SCSI controller and Hard Drive to think about to keep this system cooking on a budget? And where to buy these items? Any input appreciated as always.
