     Very close...it's just the chain that requires termination rather 
than the device and you can terminate the chain within a short distance 
(I think it's four inches or less) after the last device with a 
terminator if the option to terminate is not present on the device - some 
scsi HD models cannot be terminated with a jumper. Zips have the 
termination option and are handy for just that purpose - even if you 
don't use them for storage - I've had a zip in my Umax for some time but 
I've never had a disk for it....heheh
