They have reasonably decent service. I used to support Earthlink DSL, which 
went over BellSouth's stuff and it was decent enough. Standard warnings 
about occasional tech support headaches apply, it's usually decent but 
there are a few... also standard Mac support problems, particularly older 
Macs, apply. ("You want to hook up a 266mhz Macintosh? Uhh... I don't think 
that'll work")

I don't believe you can. It's an either-or.

It's probably a no. Back in my day, we allowed 3 IPs because sometimes when 
you'd disconnect, the connection wouldn't reset on our end so we allowed 
multiple IPs so people could still get on. Even before I left there were 
rumblings that was going away due to abuse, so don't count on it. Best bet 
is to get/make a router. The device will indeed split a signal, but it 
would need to be on the routed side of a router and not the DSL modem side.
