< Should I just track down a new(er) pram? Or is it possible I left something
unconnected inside? I have been looking around for diagrams to the
mainboard or anything like that and I haven't had any luck. Can someone
here point me in the right direction? I'm new to upgrading macs, but I can
be fairly handy with hardware when necessary :)

  Thanks in advance...

I had this dark monitor problem on a 7200 and a 7300. I tried replacing PRAM battery
and cuda reset. Didn't work. Then did a POE on RAM and found I had a bad stick. See if
you damaged some RAM while you were tinkering. Just reboot with one RAM DIMM at a time
installed. I was pleasantly surprised to find none of my Macs were dead, just bad RAM.
(That pesky static electricity)
Good Luck!
Tom
