That depends on what software you are using at the time.  It can 
increase performance or decrease performance.  If your system is not 
set up for enabled L2 cache freeze, cause problems with the HD, and a 
bunch other stuff being generally unstable.

If that is where Profiler initially set it, leave it there until you 
find out if your system is stable with it enabled.  Then when you 
figure out how to increase cooling to the processor and cache, 
increase the speed of the cache one step at a time until it becomes 
unstable, then drop back one speed.
