Apple specified EDO RAM recognizable w/the Gazelle logicboard (6500), which gives a small speed boost. Where as the Alchemy logicboard (same box ... 6400), sees EDO the same as FPM RAM. > What happens if FPM RAM is used? AFAIK, either EDO or FPM can be used in the 6500. I have used both (but not mixing 1 of each) in a 6500 and 6400.
