Help! When trying to print a 10Mb PICT graphic image from GraphicConvertor to my HP 930C printer a message saying - Status of "xxx.pict": spooling page 1 to disk - appears. This stays on screen for some 15 minutes, there are sounds of hard drive activity and then another message saying - System error "Disk full (-34)" occurred. The same happens if I just try to do a print preview.
So, what 'disk' and why? I'm using a 7300/180 with a PowerLogix G3/350 card, OS 8.6, 448Mb of RAM, 1Gb of free Hard Drive space. I've allotted 50Mb to GraphicConvertor and 30Mb to the Desktop Printer and feed the printer via a 2-port USB/PCI card. Smaller 1Mb files print quite OK and relatively quickly. I've tried with Background Printing both ON and OFF. I've tried printing a JPEG version of the PICT image - about 0.5Mb - with no luck. What's going on?
