All I can say is that I added an ATA133 PCI card to my PM9500, along with a new Maxtor 60G 7200rpm drive, and WOW what a difference from the SCSIs I was using (connected to the internal SCSI bus). I understand that you can go faster if you use a fast SCSI-2 card in a PCI slot with SCSI-2 drives, but bang-for-the-buck, my cheap ATA setup 'feels' probably twice as fast accessing files, and during startup, than before. I'm very pleased with the investment. ---Alex _________________________________________ GOD BLESS AMERICA!
