As Clark said, if you are connecting to your ISP with no trouble but you can't surf. (I am assuming you can use your mail client to send and recieve mail fine.) THen your problem must be with the DNS entries. (Domain Name Server) A bad DNS entry would cause exactly what you describe. Sounds like your ISPs tech is probably just frieked out because your using a Mac and is afraid he can't support it without putting any rational thought behind it...
Oh, and Charlie wrote: > Recently I had the same problem with my Power > Computing Powerwave DT - > I > could get online but couldn't surf nor check mail > until I replaced the > original Western Digital IDE drive with a spare > Seagate Medalist. Haha... I was speechless at that for awhile. CHarlie, most likely you were having DNS issues as well. When you switched Drives and reinstalled everything, it likley straightened itself out. What kind of hard drive you have in your machine is not going to regulate whether you can surf or not... Not picking on you, just thought I should clarify ;-) Cheers, Sionnach __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
