Are you also running some version of Jaguar  or OSX on the 9500 ???? From OSX you can boot into OS9.2 but the latest system that the 9500 will run is system 9.1. If you have NEW utility CDs like SystemWorks, that come with OS9.2, you can not boot the 9500 with them. You hve to burn a CD of your own replacing the OS9.2 System Folder with a OS8.6.
