Here's what I have: a 7200 with a dead hard drive. I also have two replacement HDs I'd like to install in this machine.
They are a Connor CFP1060S and a Connor CFP1080S, both in good condition. So I go to the Seagate site for support and find their config information at http://www.seagate.com/support/disc/scsi/cfp1060s.html and http://www.seagate.com/support/disc/scsi/cfp1080s.html where I discover that I'm not quite as smart as I thought I was. I'm unsure how to set these up for ID and term, plus I don't quite understand where they need to be on the cable. So, the question in a nutshell is: how do I set up the jumpers on each HD, and where do they go on the cable. Thanks. I need to keep my LAN running or our new CIO (a Mac hater) will replace them with Winblows boxes. Ken -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
