If the 8500 does NOT have an IDE bus, then you had better find a computer
(borrow one) that has an IDE bus, like a B&W G3 tower, Performa 6200 or
Performa 580, and put the iMac hard drive into it.

Use FileSharing to move the files over to the 8500.
