With the monitor that's a decent price. It would have been a steal with a g3 card. I have a 7500 upgraded with a ZIF carrier card (g3/233 @ 250) and it's by far the most dependable Mac I've ever owned. If you go with a slower g3 upgrade, say 300MHz, you should be able to find one used for around $100 or less. Slower ZIFs are cheap with all the Beige and B&W owners upgrading so you might consider a ZIF carrier card. I believe macsales.com still has some new ones for $75; used ones are cheaper elsewhere. You can pick up a 233MHz g3 ZIF for $5, which can be overclocked to 250MHz on a 50MHz bus, or higher with active cooling. 128MB DIMMs--the best buy per MB--run about $25-30 each. A while back they were around $20 each. -+-+-+- RPM -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
