I have a 7300 with an ata card (66) and a absolutely (in dollars about 45) new cheap burner (LG) and it works really well you need an modification program to drive ATA66 on 7500 otherwise sound will stutter, but once you have that it works it's called the AV optimizer, with the ide 66 I am not really sure about the ide 100 or 33, but i think its a good buy the cheap g3 is also good - make sure it has stereosound though, some of them heve not.
