I've put GOOD proccessors into a bad mobo to test the mobo and it never 
hurt the processors, so I do not imagine that it will hurt your mobo to 
run a bad cpu on it...but it's still a risk; if you can't afford to 
replace the mobo (like I did) I wouldnt try it
