I am considering upgrading an 8600 250MHz I cannot find anywhere (least of all Sonnett's own site) which gives an objective measure of whether the 800MHz G4 upgrade is truly faster than the 450 MHz card. Is it in fact choked by the slow system bus and that is why no stats have been published?
