what is that ? DNS ? MacTCP-DNR ?? if its the last one just through
it away and restart - they get corrupted no biggie - and restart -
the TCP / IP program will make a new one when you use it - throw away
all the TCP installation preferences from the preference folder AND
fill in the server data again -
throw away the preferences of FINDER, APPLETALK, APPLESHARE, MACOS,
SYSTEM from the preferencefolder and restart usually cures smaller
issues, if you get a lot of problems with an inherited system, then
drag the entire preferencefolder on to the desktop and restart and
the OS will make a new preference folder from scratch, move back the
preferences you think is okay and like to keep, like codes for games
and programs, that you maybe can't get the original for anymore, save
your mail and things like that. but let the OS make a new preference
folder, and keep the new OS related preferences.
