Did u check this b4 or after the switch? if it was after, they you have proved my point, which is that this computer is not set to AOL Link by DEFAULT (when NOT running AOL), and when you fire up AOL and try to connect, it sees that the TCP/IP settings are not correct (not set to AOL Link, because it also restores your original settings after quitting, thus doing this every time u log on), and asks u to change the setting. You can correct this by going to the tcp/ip CP in the finder when NOT running aohell and set it to aohell link and be sure to save the settings; however, if it was b4 u tried to log on and its still set to aol link, i dont know, i remember having that problem as well @ 1 point in time, i believe that i had to reinstall AOL or my OS or something...something had gotten corrupted, that was 4 sure hope this helps you to work it out. -josh '...This isn't happening.
