Hi KOG
You don�t need to zero all data - in my humble opinion. Isnt that more od a
security thing?
And you cannot - or if your software lets you - should not - lowlevel format
an ATA HD. The HDs I have put into 5500 let Drive Setup initialise them
without problems to HFS+. Likewise for an iMac.
Utility:
My first choice is DiskWarrior, then Norton - but be sure to have the up to
date version for your System, then TechTool.
