i've tried making a bootable cd with system 7.5.3 on it, but it will not boot on my powermac 8500. i don't have the original mac os 8.6 cd (it was an ebay mac), and i have no other cds it will boot from, the closest being mac os 9.2, but the latest it will boot from is mac os 9.1. does anyone have any suggestions?
