I can't seem to find it in the archives but I'm having an issue upgrading my
7300 to an 8500 - the power supply is different.

Does anybody know which power supply I need and does anybody have one they
want to trade for the 7300 power supply I have?

In order to do this, you're going to have to go backwards and install a
7500/7600/7200 PSU, a suffix B model, replacing your 7300 PSU, which is a
suffix G model.
